Losing fat, not necessarily weight, is difficult to do. Yet armchair activism such as "fat acceptance" lends itself to the path of least resistance. It is easier for an obese woman to call herself a "model" then it is to strive to become healthy. Fat men compensate with money.

As someone who is recently larger than is productive for a homosexual, I realise it is my responsibility for health (cruising aside) to take a charge of it. I would hate to be codified as prime victim meat being both gay and portly. I quite welcome the label Libertarian though.
