I'm often told I shouldn't bother breaking down bad ideas within academic & SocJus leftism, making them accessible and pointing out the problems because their proponents don't believe in reason & evidence & won't listen. I think this is the wrong way to look at it.

Reality takes care of the people that are immovable Leftist. I do think that the Challenging of bad ideas is important because most people just believe the first stupid thing somebody said and then never take a second look. Saw it countless times in personal talks.
