And I seem to have regained all the weight I lost despite ensuring that I have remained in ketosis. I'll persevere for the rest of the month but if I haven't lost any weight by the end, I will see if a low carb but also low fat diet will help both my weight loss & neuro probs

People keep saying 'It can take up to three months to see any weight loss on Keto' and that's all very well but it had better then start coming off fast because this is rather urgent.

It's not even like I have a tendency to be overweight. Without medication, I have always been slim. It's very frustrating.

Or I could just stop eating. I'm so sick of this constant thinking about and measuring and preparing food and suffering deprivation and staying exactly the same weight I am when I just eat whatever I feel like.

Semi-unsolicited advice: keto diets might be useful for certain conditions, but for weight loss, calorie counting and meal planning works 100% of the time - 1st law of thermodynamics. It's not fire and forget, but gets easier once your tracking app has common meals at the ready.

I can lose 3lbs a week on a low calorie diet but the keto diet removes about 75% of my neurological symptoms.
