And I seem to have regained all the weight I lost despite ensuring that I have remained in ketosis. I'll persevere for the rest of the month but if I haven't lost any weight by the end, I will see if a low carb but also low fat diet will help both my weight loss & neuro probs

Semi-unsolicited advice: keto diets might be useful for certain conditions, but for weight loss, calorie counting and meal planning works 100% of the time - 1st law of thermodynamics. It's not fire and forget, but gets easier once your tracking app has common meals at the ready.

I can lose 3lbs a week on a low calorie diet but the keto diet removes about 75% of my neurological symptoms.

I'm not so sure about keto, seems weird to me that its going back on. The fat may not be burning quicker than its storing. Low carb, low fat, high to mid protein is quickest way probably.
