And I seem to have regained all the weight I lost despite ensuring that I have remained in ketosis. I'll persevere for the rest of the month but if I haven't lost any weight by the end, I will see if a low carb but also low fat diet will help both my weight loss & neuro probs

Or I could just stop eating. I'm so sick of this constant thinking about and measuring and preparing food and suffering deprivation and staying exactly the same weight I am when I just eat whatever I feel like.

It was Amitriptyline but I have stopped it. Last time I came off it, I lost 120lbs in a year without having to think about it.

I used prednisone for severe allergies &had to resort to water fasts to keep extra fat off.I did two 24 hour fasts per week. My co-worker gets great results w/intermittent fasting+keto. Might be worth checking into if you haven't already. I wish you the best of luck

Sorry to hear that, those medication side effects can be a pain in the ass! I guess you have to either double down on diet and exercise or find a medication that does something similar but with better side effects

That sounds awful. A family member of mine has had heavy weight gain as a side effect of important medications. Must feel so... ironic and not in a fun way.

Another possibility to consider: sleep patterns. Inadequate sleep leads to weight gain, weight gain can lead to apnoea, apnoea exacerbates inadequate sleep and causes a whole bunch of other problems.
