And I seem to have regained all the weight I lost despite ensuring that I have remained in ketosis. I'll persevere for the rest of the month but if I haven't lost any weight by the end, I will see if a low carb but also low fat diet will help both my weight loss & neuro probs

People keep saying 'It can take up to three months to see any weight loss on Keto' and that's all very well but it had better then start coming off fast because this is rather urgent.

It's not even like I have a tendency to be overweight. Without medication, I have always been slim. It's very frustrating.

Or I could just stop eating. I'm so sick of this constant thinking about and measuring and preparing food and suffering deprivation and staying exactly the same weight I am when I just eat whatever I feel like.

Maybe stupid question, but is it right you take meds for neuro probs and the meds cause weight gain? Then, if keto reduces neuro probs, maybe the main prio of keto is not weight loss? Rather: keto -> reduced neuro probs -> reduced meds -> weight loss?

I've had to come off the meds because of the weight gain. Now I need to lose the weight and it's much harder than it was last time when it just fell off in a year without me needing to think about it. Metabolism seems to have changed. I have to think about it this time.

My mom's office offers this:https://idealprotein.com/  which is low carb, low fat, low calorie. It's worked well in the past for me, but I could never actually stick to it. So it became more like a keto diet. I don't think it's offered in England, but maybe something similar is.

could be water retention - a lot of people I know who are losing weight have this problem, and then suddenly spend three days on the loo and lose the weight.

Have you experimented with different types of fat? Because this is actually a nutrient source, not a fattener. I don't count calories at all.
