You could say that traditional gender role reflect aggregate innate sex differences, expressed under certain environmental constraints. That’s different from enforcing them or even promoting them (let the chips fall where they may, as they say)

In fact, we should guard against social pressured to conform. That is different from forcefully socially re-engineering society away from traditional roles. Letting individuals live as they wish seems the better approach.

I don't find norms that harmful as well I think they limit you if you don't fully understand what they're supposed to reflect as well This idea that we can't push in certain directions, even noticing innate differences, just because it's progressive to me is harmful too
