I might also have to write a thing distinguishing forms of leftism - radicals, libertarians, identitarians and liberals which also break down into smaller groups and where they overlap &where they conflict utterly. Might have to recruit someone skilled in the art of Venn Diagramshttps://twitter.com/EricHamell/status/981142017353842688 …

You can't criticise destructive forms of leftism & support productive ones if you are confusing your radfems with your intersectionals, your Marxists with your postmodernists, your identitarians with your liberals & your libertarians with your radfems or conservatives.

I would actually need a very complicated diagram for this. Maybe not a Venn diagram. Maybe a flowchart. Accompanied by much explanation.

Oh god, I''d also have to distinguish British divisions from American ones. Our Left Libertarians in particular confuse Americans. "What is this I behold before me Does. not. compute." And I know little about the nuances of the rest of the Anglosphere. I may have to rethink this

And I, as a British lefty, am completely bewildered about the ideological basis of Antifa. It seems completely incoherent and to blend the worst aspects of everything but there will be an internal consistency I am missing.

There's a lot there. Will be a book soon. Special emphasis on discussion between Gillis and Byas. I agree with Byas' criticisms of antifa, but best discussion to understand the divide.
