I'm writing a thing on this at the moment in which I will show that almost no-one wants unregulated immigration & almost no-one wants to ban all immigration. People can use 'far-right' wrongly. I have been accused of being both far-right & far-left. Lunatic fringes do exist tho

Meaning: "perfect extremes don't exist" doesn't clarify that there are nevertheless irreconcilable differences in commonly-held POV. I also don't think the immigration subject splits perfectly on "left-right" divide. e.g. so-called "populist right" are mostly 'former democrats'
