It's almost as though identity groups are not a hive mind but people with their own brains, values, knowledge and opinions. Don't kid yourself you are 'listening to women/PoC/LGBTs' when you amplify the ones who already agree with you.

The only way to minimise this is to stop claiming truth to be rooted in the experience & feelings of identity groups while actually declaring authentic the members who agree with you & admit you are promoting your own values, Then give an evidenced, reasoned & ethical rationale.

There is an easier solution. Identity has nothing to do with whether what a person says is true or false and in fact it should be ignored as the ad hom fallacy it is.
