Arguing about religion does give me a kind of overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. Like if you can't get this problem right, how on earth do you manage with the harder ones.

Yeah, so much fluffiness. I often despair and think we are doomed as a species to always be seeking whatever this is. We're just not going to reason rigorously if so many people don't want to.
