I've lost some people for not being a fan of religion or faith-based thinking generally. This happens. Thanks to all the religious people who stay with me despite disagreeing on this. You're the ones I want to keep.

Why not? You have to leave it here because you can't explain why. You have faith that you've explained well enough despite not explaining at all.
-
I've argued about this all day & in fact, for several years. I am bored. If genuinely interested in definitions of faith and what critics of faith-based thinking are and are not criticising, try the introductions of 'Manual for Creating Atheists' & 'Facts vs Faith'
-
So facts exist in a world exclusive of faith? How interesting. You're bored, becaause you have boring views that can't be explained. Have a good day, oh faithful one!
-
Honestly, they have really clear explanations of what is and isn't being criticised by sceptics under the banner of 'faith' but it takes about a chapter. I can't tweet it all here & I'm no longer interested in these kinds of conversations.
-
Ok so maybe the first tweet that started all of this should have read "I'm not interested in criticizing faith based thinking", thank you for wasting my time
-
I feel dumber for reading your exchange with Helen, Allen. thank you for wasting my time
-
You may get it one day, sir. Until then, enjoy ignorance, and your faith in my stupidity
