I believe a person accused of a crime must be given a meaningful opportunity to say “I didn’t do it”. That principle hasn’t been the historical norm and arguments can be made for or against it but no argument can compel assent. Am I being dogmatic?

I was trying not to drag you into this. Seems you are being pestered and I didn't want to be "that guy". My point was regrading the transmission of positions, I would rather my child take on faith, until reason catches up, that fire will burn her. I am still on about the morals
