No, they can't. They can't say that the existence of God is a consensus based on evidence but that it's provisional & this might change. They claim revelation and faith as an epistemology for it and also God to be definitely real & unchanging. Please, I can't keep repeating this

Since when is science consensus based? Revelation is one of the bigger issues, but not all religions have a reliance on revelation. We are all talking in generalities and not specifics or so I thought. Faith is not much different than Cartesian concept of Cogito Ergo Sum.
