”Universal Liberal” is confusing. I call myself a Pragmatic Libertarian and seem to have the same positions that you do.https://twitter.com/HPluckrose/status/978951887662837761 …
I think pragmatic libertarian is even more confusing. Two meanings of both 'pragmatic' and 'libertarian.'

Frantically looking up dictionary...

I’m using ”pragmatic” in the common, meaning -(”practical”) but also other meanings: ”treating historical phenomena with special reference to their causes, antecedent conditions, and results” and ”of or relating to the affairs of state or community”. (http://dictionary.com )
-
I am also a libertarian in both senses: advocating liberty of thought and conduct, and maintaining the doctrine of free will.
-
The modern Libertarian movement (Think Friedman, or the Libertarian Party, Cato Institute, etc) are not in favor of a mixed economy. They would certainly not be in favor of universal healthcare, for example, or most other sorts of social welfare programs.
-
Hence I am pragmatic. Personal liberty is a basic value, but I prefer a system (government or private) that prevents people from starving in my country.
