I have just completed my first week of keto + intermittent fasting. Headaches nearly gone, blurred vision much reduced,, coordination most improved of all, 4 lbs gone. I think I might have cracked it.

I found that getting rid of sugar (esp with coffee in the morning) controlled my cravings. I'm actually amazed at how easy it was to resist food later on in the day when I did that. Lots of hidden sugar. Don't know if the keto diet addresses that, but this has been my experience.

It's all about that. I don't actually add sugar to anything but have discovered my diet is half carbs which is essentially that. Now its 5% carbs.

Just be a bit careful with cutting back too much. I became lethargic and lightheaded after three weeks of cutting out all sugar (apart from some fruit). Almost passed out at work once.

Headaches on keto can be from sodium deficiency - kidneys apparently don't retain sodium in ketosis so try salt first for headaches.

My headaches disappear on keto. It's lovely.

Intermittent fasting is amazing. It seems to be how my body naturally wants to eat. Keener awareness, fewer headaches, knowing when I’m genuinely hungry and better digestion!

Sounds great. Just keep in touch with your physician. Slow & steady progress always better than rapid yet temporary improvement. Often over-looked fact: rapid weight loss can result in gall bladder issues.

Congrats! I've found that it needs some fine tuning, especially with salt and magnesium intake, but can work really well. @ProfTimNoakes is good reliable source of information on the topic.
