It is far more likely that women get get more unsolicited dick pics than men because the majority of dick-owners are attracted to women rather than men. This is a sexual thing. Men frequently hate other men but they don't demonstrate this by sending them pictures of their penishttps://twitter.com/CriticalReader7/status/976959253893304321 …

If enough men behave in this way to the point where it is a problem that a woman selected at random can personally attest to, this doesn't prove traces of misogyny in a society? sorry Helen, but if regular reports of unsolicited dick pics to WOMEN only isn't a sign of misogyny...

When men send photos of their dicks to each other it’s because they’d like to see the other guy’s equipment and interact with it physically.

Yes, I get this. This is because they know this is acceptable tho. You have to be very young, very naive or supremely socially unskilled not to know women don't usually appreciate it.

I suspect the rationale is like any mass marketing. Among the many rejections will be some few acceptances.

That’s almost certainly it - and it fits in well with the less picky nature of male sexuality.

The relevant baseline comparison I think is the number of men receiving booby/vag/etc pics, not men receiving unsolicited dick pics.

That just tells us that sending pictures of genitalia is a male thing which we know. The question is whether this demonstrates hatred of women or sexual attraction to them.

Oh that's the issue? Yeah of course it means sexual attraction. When has anyone sent dick pics to anyone because he hates that person?

I think the expressions of hatred in the way in which they are systematic and focus on hating due to gender as opposed to anything else matter here.

It's not sexual at all? When straight men really hate other men, they also send pictures of their penis?

Do men hate other men just for being men? Because you can hate someone for something other than their gender.

perhaps without pictures, but most hate between men is being settled by measuring size, i’m afraid :)

The word “misogyny” has become so vacuous that, along with a bunch of other newspeak, now literally means the exact opposite of its traditional definition
