It's not pedantic to observe that concepts can't engage in rational thought. But I know you're desperate to participate in the conversation; and making up insults that don't really fit is, in your view, better than not looking silly in public.

No-one has the time to explain metonyms to you right now especially as it's just another tedious point-missing red herring. Go away if you don't know how to have a conversation.

Go away if you don't like people pointing out obvious flaws in an author's choice of language, flaws that add confusion and error into the reader's mind.

"Go away" -- that pretty much sums up your arguments in this entire convo. You have successfully pointed out zero flaws. You confuse summaries of evidence with the actual evidence. You refuse to acknowledge the existence of any view but your own. "Go away." Indeed.

I mean there seems to be both a claim that the majority of social sciences is useless, yet attacks based on the validity of that very same structure coming from you.

Marius, that all goes too far. I have never said, nor do I think "maj of social sci is useless." So, yes, good social sci can be useful for informing what is bad social sci!

I wonder when Lee is going to figure out I manage the development of software that digitizes variable harmonization, metadata documentation and code, which is key in replication of social science findings.

So, we agree that: 1. You have no relevant expertise. 2. You have read none of the critiques of Gilbert et al 3.Your not aware of failed replications beyond OSC 4. You know nothing about validity problems in other fields. Argument by repetition & denial is not worth my effort.

Lol, if you care so much about replication why are you SO afraid to discuss the failures of research design in the original replication study. Also, if you think variable harmonization is not related to concepts of replication and validity in social science, all I can say is...pic.twitter.com/et1kHQGv8F

So now social justice leftists are rebranding the "guns don't kill people; people kill people" arguments? Seems like a winning strategy.
