So, doing a podcast requires an inordinate amount of time doing tedious tech work, doesn't it?
-
-
Nope. Just go for it. This is a great idea btw

-
Of all the things in the world I am bad at, chatting is probably the worst.
-
Hmmm. How about talking about feminism? You both seem to know about that? It’s a good starting topic. Also you have decades of literature to discuss

maybe differences in application in first world vs developing nations? -
Because then we yell at each other. Which I suppose would make it interesting?
-
We'll yell politely. I have mellowed on this topic.
-
You both debate w/ ppl a lot on Twitter, further explaining your articles, stances, etc. Instead of spending hours talking with various ppl here (I'm looking at you, Helen), you could take those questions and answer them on the mic, instead of tweeting.
-
Of course you can give those themes a thought in advance, perhaps prepare notes. But then go on the mic, and talk as if you were on air on a radio show. Just record it (only voice, no video), and then upload it, no editing. It would be like a talk show.

People find your tweets interesting. I think it would. We'd just need a topic that interested us both. I can already think of plenty. Free speech would be a good opening subject.

Yes. Great suggestion!

Maybe go check out
@joerogan etc. They have 2-3 hour rambling chats that get millions of views because the ideas are so sharp. You guys could nail that I reckon. -
I could certainly nail the two-hour rambling thing. With ease.

It’s better ad hoc. I’d make an outline with some key facts, then put it on a PowerPoint or note cards.
