This needs looking into. I am opposed to associated bollocks which requires us to focus *solely* on diversity of identity, push identity groups into stereotypical boxes and pretend that gender differences and individual choices don't exist or aren't relevant. 2/2 @MrSonicAdvance

Ultimately, it doesn't matter much if our techies & engineers are mostly white & brown men, our pharmacists are mostly brown women, our accountants are mostly Jewish and our nurses are mostly white & black women provided this isn't because other groups are excluded.

I don't know if this last is the case, btw. It was when I was training 20 years ago in London. 80% white Irish, 10% black British, 10% white British. 90% women. 10% men about a third of whom were gay.
