So did the Nazis then.

The thing about the "communist death toll" is that capitalism's death toll is much larger, but Western capitalists, for some reason, don't mention it that often, or find spurious reasons to excuse it.
-
I would offer that western capitalists feel capitalism's death toll might be a justifiable, if lamentable, output of markets.
-
You could. I reject the idea that any war is justifiable, certainly not those fought more or less entirely for profit.
-
There’s definitely something weird abt saying that every output from some min-maxed economy is an good thing. I thought the guy was being funny.
-
Capitalists in general take it as axiomatic that capitalism is a good thing (which they uniformly phrase as "best system we have"). It makes it very difficult to have productive conversations about whether or not it's a good thing.
-
You can go into great detail about the hundreds of millions of deaths from wars, famines, plagues, healthcare disasters, all directly attributable to capitalism, and they'll still come back with: Yeah, but capitalism's the best system we have.
-
I've written articles and engaged with these people on this topic and either been completely ignored or responded to with the equivalent of "Yeah, but capitalism's better". But everyone's perfectly happy to trot out the "100 million dead from communism" uncritically.

Where do you engage people on the topic?

By both you mean Marxism & intersectionality, right? Not Islam or religion.
