My plan now is to eat 1200 calories a day 6 days a week and have one treat night. This will start tomorrow but I shall reintroduce carbs slowly. I am exactly the same weight as I was when I started the keto diet 18 days ago so nothing gained or lost. Just a late start.

Dieting is like golf. As soon as you admit you wanna do it, everyone comes out of the woodwork with a milieu of schemes to get the ball across the lawn.

I’m not entirely sure how you appeared on my TL but I just wanted to encourage you on your journey to good health. You can do this.
I’m currently on one myself and have to remember to find what works best for me & my lifestyle, not anyone else’s.pic.twitter.com/0vk7qGtXaRThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Here's some advice you're free to ignore: Enjoy being whom you are. Make the changes you want to make. Assume positive intent as people can be clumsy. Always look on the bright side of life. OK I stole that last bit from Monty Python but nobody said I was good at this.

Hang in there! Remember, the calories-in-calories-out theory is absolutely obsolete. And strenuous exercise doesn't help, it just makes you hungrier. It's all about carbs and sugar. "Why We Get Fat" by Gary Taubes is just brilliant science and history.
