Many people will obsess over a slight fluctuation and either diet too hard or binge which obviously wrecks your results. Don't forget scales don't show you how much body fat you have lost but how much weight you have (mostly water in first few weeks)

It's what work best for you but if you consistently follow the paleo diet your on (even though I wouldn't recommend it) and adjust it depending on exercise/how full you feel each day then you will see better week in week results.

Measuring daily and using them to create weekly averages seems like the best way to do it to me. Flattens out the fluctuations while at the same time giving a reasonable duration for changes to take effect.

Measure daily, then average results every week. Daily measurements are prone to fluctuation/water weight/etc.

Even though weekly pictures don't give you quantitative data they are a better indicator as to how healthy your body is as well as how much body fat you have lost.
