And please understand that 'diet' means 'what you eat.' Telling me not to diet but to just eat healthily is like telling me not to exercise but just do lots of physical activity.

At the risk of incurring your wrath, have you tried MyFitnessPal? I find it really good to keep on top of intake. It’s not just about calories it’s the kind of calories which this helps a lot with.

I am currently using it! It is great! (My wrath has now died down!)

I use it to help me keep my carbs down and protein up. Works for me.

LOL Well to be fair, you'd be surprised to know how many people believe it's the kind of food and not the amount of calories what ultimately matters in terms of weight loss.
