Keto works, has worked for many and they kept the weight off. Check out the Keto pages on Reddit, see the evidence, don't listen to idiots on twitter (you can include me on that, though I am speaking as someone who lost 6 stone and kept it off)

The latest stats I read in the US at least, is that one in ten thousand people trying to lose weight manage to lose more than 10% of their body weight and keep it off for more than 2 years. 1/10000... You're not frustrated because you're not winning the lottery, this is similar.
