Do you know what, Keto diet? Fuck you. No, I'm not breaking up with you just yet. I will keep my commitment to the end of the month but you need to start coming through on promises pretty damn quick. I am miserable. I am hungry. My breath smells. I AM NO FUCKING THINNER!

It seems like everybody except me finds that the keto diet makes them less hungry. I find that a bowl of porridge and a hard boiled egg - 300 calories - keeps me going till lunchtime but sausage, egg & bacon in coconut oil - 800 calories - makes me feel hungry two hours later.

Also, I am actually really, really sick of fatty meat. I crave a salad followed by some pineapple. FML.

The ketones are in large part derived from the increased fat intake you are consuming. Likely a much smaller portion from actual stored lipid depending on degree of your caloric deficit.

I'm sure you don't want advice but... it's a long-term thing. You'll destroy your motivation if you weigh-in every day. Do it once per week. Be strict!

Are you trying to calorie control at the same time? If so, DON'T. You're shifting your bodies go-to energy source from sugar to fat, so you need to flood the body with fat to force produce ketones. Don't try to limit carbs, try to completely eliminate them to get as low as poss
