I am much more sympathetic to the old style socialist/radical left than the new style intersectional/identitarian left. They are also generally much more sympathetic to me - a old style liberal leftie which used not to be the case. .

The radical left and the liberal left, in the UK, used to be utterly opposed but once an identitarian/postmodern branch sprouted out of the liberal side (some of which was taken on by a branch of radical side), the rest of us discovered we had more in common than we thought.

Good article. As with nearly all things political, it boils to down to a sensible, pragmatic approach. Sensible and fair restrictions on immigration and a focus on working class living standards is key.
