I'm sure you've read Atkins. The first two weeks are very protein-fat heavy and carb light. That's how I've reached ketosis several times

Yes, I'm listening to a lot of podcasts by people who have. They stick to it for life. Often to reverse diabetes.

No problem. If you have given it the same scrutiny you do all matters you speak off, I have no doubt it's a reasonable choice. I suppose I'm cautious as the only long transformations I have witnessed is using more simple principles. Best of luck :-)

Seems very complicated. Ive been lucky enough to loose a bit of weight recently. Basically cutting out snacks between meals, meals are relatively healthy and walking the dog every day. I have a huge appetite, so not being hungry is the key to my current success.

For years myself and my wife have looked at various dieting models. I think the term "dieting" is unhelpful and its sustainable to look at what can be done. A high fat diet seems not to be good for blood pressure or cholestrol. If you want any basic recipes shared, let me know.
