Are you keeping track of ketones to make sure you're in ketosis?
No but I'm not sure why I wouldn't be. I've had less than 5% carbs for 10 days now.

The pee-strips are very helpful in the initial days, and encouraging. They aren't perfect meters, but they provide helpful feedback (encouragement, too.) They cost about $8 for 50. I encourage you to try them.

Eating too much protein can put you out of ketosis because the protein will get converted to glucose. So its helpful to keep track in the beginning to know what balance of fat:protein works for you. Also, intermittent fasting with keto works wonders for weight loss.
