Hahahaha hahahaha! Oh James, Phil Torres wanting to sit in on his class and write a piece critical of him is now a threat!! Come on man!! Debate him, I mean, I thought you people welcomed a good Battle of Ideas? Now you're running from him like snowflakes??

Phil denies engaging in any type of threats. So Helen, you know how the burden of proof works right? innocent until proven guilty...pic.twitter.com/Whk4OyxZv2

I just submit the evidence of what he is doing. If you decide it is not threatening, your call. I wonder if you'd see it the same way if it was a critic of feminism doing this to a feminist rather than a critic of new atheism doing it to new atheist? I'd try to be consistent.
-
You say he's made multiple accounts to harass and obsess over Boghossian and that he's made creepy references about his children.
-
He likes to freak him out by referencing his little girl, yes. He thinks it's funny that this scares him.https://twitter.com/Torres65623394/status/968640608146423808 …

I didn't even know Peter had an adopted Asian daughter, but yes, I will agree Phil crossed a line when he brought that up and he should apologize for it. That being said, I agree with his primary criticism minus the bad inappropriate joke. Peter is a snowflake.
-
That's fine! Agree with primary criticism of Boghossian. Criticise away. Write 100 articles on subject. Call him snowflake. Just don't try to force contact despite blocks, reference his children, threaten to turn up at his work & laugh when he's freaked out enough to call police
-
It seems we can agree we can think someone is a terrible person & say so w/out stalking them & trying to force them to listen to it & enjoying making them fear for the safety of their children? I disagree with this assessment of Peter, obv, but I'd say same for someone I despise
-
I'm communicating with Phil, apparently they were once friends and had a fallout, the references Phil made to Boghossian's personal life were not due to stalking but due to them having a close relationship before then.

But, do you know what? No-one needs to provide you with evidence they are being stalked for you to have accept that if someone asks you to stop trying to contact them or see them, they need to do that. No means no. No-one has any right to force contact with anyone else.
-
He has every right to not want to be contacted, that being said, if he's refusing to engage one his loud critics in any setting, he is acting like the snowflakes he often goes after... I'm pointing out the hypocrisy.
-
He's not. He's trying to engage as many of them as possible. Just not the one who has been stalking him personally. This really shouldn't be hard to understand. If you still don't, I'll leave it here.
