Of course. I just don't think science lends itself as well to this as unscientific approaches to understanding the world.https://twitter.com/tmamone/status/970651236897828864 …
Well, no. Biology isn't. I'll never be as strong as my husband and he'll never be able to give birth. I don't think anti-postmodernists are a cohesive group. The only person I know who focuses on it as much as me is Jordan Peterson & he's a right winger who doesn't understand it

That being said, I am confused as to how the Peter Boghossians of the world balance their love of Enlightenment Humanism with their seeming Pragmatism and Darwinian world view.
-
I don't know what that means. Can you give an example? You're not saying Boghossian is a social Darwinist, surely?
-
Yes, for instance, using political power to defund entire programs seems to be as "pragmatic" and w/o principal as deplatforming someone?
-
What is this in relation to? I don't want to defund any programmes particularly but we can have an ongoing conversation about which are worthwhile & which are not and keep improving universities. I don't see how this relates to deplatforming people.

Correct, but I see the Is/Ought problem here. Men are physically stronger than women. True. But what does this have to do with the "ought" of natural rights and human rights?
-
Huh? In what sense? I haven't made any claims about this, have I? I don't see any oughts attached to different capabilities. I can have babies but I don't have to. Men can lift heavy things but they don't have to.

Let me say that, in general, I support most of what you have wrote about PoMo, and I agree.
