As a trans person who considers themselves much more conservative than liberal on most things, I agree to an extent. I am against some liberal positions personally, such as the economy or freedoms, but I can also see some of the issues between trans issues and conservatism.

It's a hard topic to convey, but being trans does not immediately make you liberal. As you said, trans people can speak confidently on trans issues. A conservative or liberal can talk on conservative or liberal values. You can't automatically conflate liberals & trans people.
