Therefore, if you want a collection of experiences of being trans, and we often do want exactly that, you'd need to go to trans people. If you want to know the science of something, you need a scientist. If you want to consider liberal ethics, you need liberals.

A trans person who was conservative or anti-science would advocate against liberal positions and science. This would not become right because they were trans and speaking in the context of trans issues. I'll remain liberal & evidence-based.
