I really don't have a horse in this race and don't know what to think of it. I've seen brain scan images etc that support what you say, but then trad fems say its about reproductive biology.
I'm not bothering with definitions of woman. That only bogs the conversation down. I don't think its just reproductive systems nor do I think self-identification is reliable. Do read article.

I will - I'm sure I'll learn a lot as always. I'm puzzled though, because I'm not clear whether your argument for trans women as women is science-based, political (ie you accept their definitions), or a combination, or something else. I'll read the article.

I don't argue for trans women being women. This is beside the point and conversation stalls on it all the time. It entirely depends on how you define 'woman' and, however you do, there is biological basis to trans identity & a liberal imperative to let people be themselves.

I think that's very sensible. Identity politics was always going to lead to this but, well, we're locked into it now and the zealots want blood. I think the answer, once again, is to just throw my hands up and despair. Oh, the humanity. Have a good day.
