If you think it's that simple, you're missing a whole cultural phenomena.https://twitter.com/Rongwrong_/status/969175717832511489 …

That's an awfully fancy explanation for something as simple as getting angry when people tell you facts you don't want to hear.

I tries to stays very calms whenever people mixes up singulars and plural, but I finds them very difficult sometime. I are easily triggered by "phenomena", "criteria", "data", and so ons beings useds as singular when it are in fact plurals. But don't worry. I has tablet.

Ha! I knew someone was going to say that as soon as I sent it but decided against deleting. I do it with 'data' and never realise tho.

Sorry, Helen - I don't normally weaponise spelling, but if I can think of a fun way to make an exception to that rule - and it *must* be fun at some level or I won't do it - I will make that exception for (a) goodies, who can take it, and (b) baddies, who deserve it!

Yeah, I think it's that simple. Her response was not constructivist at all. I'm NOT endorsing her reply, but it appeals to logic and objective, scientific facts: 1. The link between obesity and cancer is only probabilistic. 2. Dieting has been shown to be harmful to one's health
