I believe in the combo brewing technique whereby one first brews, but the the tea has cooled, so 20 seconds in the nuclear furnace to bring it back up to scalding perfection.

Now you do know that microwaves merely resonate with water molecules and thereby heat them. Nothing is added beyond heat, and of course, negative flavor magic crystal vibrations.

Your error is assuming tea is a beverage. It is not. It is a ritual. Death to the Microwavian heresy!

That’s true for orthodox tea makers. Those of us that are reform tea makers appreciate the ritual of tea making the traditional way but are open to other ways of making tea too.

Tea is an intensely spiritual experience, and there are many paths to paradise. Mine is in the Bush after a long day’s hike, boiled creek water over a tea bag in a tin cup, a dollop of condensed milk and staring into the camp fire, listening for Bunyip.
