I bought one just to see what it was. It was a scone with pork in. Have Americans ever encountered any food stuff they can't supplement with bacon or peanut butter? https://twitter.com/AubreyHolloman/status/965251472932982784 …

No you can't get a southern biscuit in Portland, this is more regional. There should be no pork in it, only gravy (w/pork sausage) on it. A biscuit must be look like this to be a biscuit (your biscuits are in fact crackers):pic.twitter.com/RdUO9PQuu5

Biscuits and gravy for the win! Discovered it shortly after immigrating to the US. Now have to restrain myself.

Have you come across that weird white gravy they put on their 'biscuits' yet? That stuff ain't right.

Sausage gravy. You've not lived until you have had that. Are you sure you had it on a proper biscuit, which is not a scone?

They called it a biscuit but it did taste a bit like a savoury, weird scone.

It should be fluffy and soft. Also, if it's not from the South it's suspect. ☺️

Had it in Georgia with some beautiful peach ice tea. Guy on a rocking chair with a shotgun in his house nearby so I felt I was pretty deep south.

The scone part is the actual biscuit, with the usual butter and sweet. Now trending as sandwich...
