In my experience you'll be fine the first day, but the second night you'll wake up at 3AM and stay wide awake until 3PM the next day when you won't be able to keep your eyes open. Coffee during the day, and benadryl at night help :-)

To reset your circadian rhythm, Helen, chew a 4 mg piece of nicotine gum at your new waking time. Getting up and moving about with the light on while doing this increases its effectiveness. (Only works for nonsmokers, though). At your new bedtime, take some melatonin.
