My father was a successful businessman & neutral on having kids. He quite liked me once I arrived tho. My mother, a writer, student, secretary & stand-up comedian. She always wanted kids but also found them tiresome to be around for too long. This is normal & healthy. I was loved

I know I've said this before but I really think it's important not to burden kids with being your sole purpose in life. That's a huge responsibility. I think kids do best when they know they are important and loved but also know that their parents are people with their own lives.
