How do we solve the conflict between some feminists, who seek to protect the identity "woman" & women-only roles/spaces from men/transwomen, & transwomen who do not want to be seen as men, but trans women?

I ask this question with full congruence: why are some on both sides finding that so hard right now? I mean why your "we probably never will"? I think it's because identity is such a powerful concept that we grow deeply attached to which causes trouble, but what do you think?

Gender ideology, yes. We're probably not shifting that. We just have to appeal to the majority who just want some fairness and not to be told what to do.

Because they told my lesbian daughter, being L was bad and that she is a man 'really' . For that they can fuck right off.

You just said a minute ago to let people use the pronouns they like.

Indeed, others have a right to label a cis person as trans if cis people have a right to label trans people cis, and so on, which is why I think the laissez faire approach to this is not working, and maybe is even a little disingenuous.
