How do we solve the conflict between some feminists, who seek to protect the identity "woman" & women-only roles/spaces from men/transwomen, & transwomen who do not want to be seen as men, but trans women?

To summarise: Trans activists need to stop trying to leverage the law in order to dictate language. They need to accept that, due to societal norms, their sex lives will suffer, as many will remain, as is their right, uncomfortable. That doesn't give trans folk a right to bully.pic.twitter.com/1Rko3XJM7i

For anti-trans folk, this means: Accepting trans identity is none of their business. If you dislike the attempt to leverage the law in order to dictate language, fight that, not trans identity as a whole.pic.twitter.com/QAZ2UQSgkv

Overall, let people do their thing, and try to get along?

I ask this question with full congruence: why are some on both sides finding that so hard right now? I mean why your "we probably never will"? I think it's because identity is such a powerful concept that we grow deeply attached to which causes trouble, but what do you think?

Gender ideology, yes. We're probably not shifting that. We just have to appeal to the majority who just want some fairness and not to be told what to do.

Because they told my lesbian daughter, being L was bad and that she is a man 'really' . For that they can fuck right off.
