At occassion I have felt that some feminists feel unsatisfied with the equality they achieved as "being treated equal to men/by men", because they made the wrong assumptions of how men actually treat each other.

This is very true. Or it used to be anyway. Probably there are different standards today in “Creampuff Nation”.
-
"Creampuff Nation"?! Do I even want to know what that means?
But yeah, basically expectation and reality don't always go hand in hand. -
We are raising a generation(s) of fragile personalities who collapse at the first confrontation they encounter. It will not turn out well when they confront more robust competitors. And, the one thing I can guarantee is that they will.
-
Oh yeah, I use "special snowflakes" for that purpose. Protecting children at all costs from any negative experience will result in grown ups that are emotionally immature and unprepared for confrontation and criticism.

To be fair i've told male work colleagues they look good. I used to work with a load of scruffs, so when they put a nice shirt on, comments were made. Generally, the guy did a twirl, and then we headed to the pub after work (to tell dick jokes, yes). It was all very amicable.
-
Yea, I've worked with girls who can roll with typical male banter very easily, and give as good as they get. Somehow though, I cannot see your typical SJWesque female coping quite so well...
-
agreed. Im just pleased ive not worked with them types! Complementing women who i have worked with in the same way, was always met agreeably. I think these SJWs are ruining it for everyone. Men, and also the decent, level-headed women out there (of which there are loads).

I regularly tell a colleague he looked better before he shaved his beard. I might try this on a colleague that isn’t male.

American men go there too (especially teh gehs... although hugging and spanking is more frequent there than back slaps), and quite frankly it's nice to be in an atmosphere where eggshell walking isn't required.

It can vary tremendously. I've got very close friends with whom I communicate mostly in insults. It's a sign of the closeness that we're comfortable enough to do this. However, if there are any genuine issues, we'll talk seriously about them.

What does that even mean “asking for a death”? No I don’t make requests to be shot.

The previous statement, suggesting men take a moment and think "would I do/ say this to a man," is a really bad/ uninformed idea. At the least, it shows little or no understanding of how men talk to each other.
-
Specifically, I work with all men in my "department", which is just the nature of my work and no... wherever other reason. We consistently call each other motherfucker, asshole, dick, and such. We give each other hell. We make small dick jokes, usually about ourselves. On/on

no it’s totally reasonable to complain that men don’t tell each other they look sexy

You did it again. I had to Google “piss up”. Thanks, I have now expanded my vocabulary. I will try to use it in a sentence today. Will probably offend some.
