Well, I see no point in quibbling over definitions. If by 'demographic' you include the mentally ill and criminals, it's obviously fine to generalise them as mentally ill and criminal. Also ok to generalise men and women as men and women.

I see. People who aren't callous say we can make everyone in the world nice, do they? I think saying that seems a bit racist. (As we've clearly abandoned the rules of conversation where there is any expectation of responding relevantly to what has been said making sense.)

IS violence "a necessary evil?" I hope not. WAS violence a necessary evil at times in the ancestral environments in which H. sapiens evolved? It's hard to argue the contrary. We still have the same neural hard wiring we had back in the Pleistocene.

I think H. sapiens have a rich array of behaviours at our disposal many of which have yet to be fully understood. I don't buy into simplistic Natural Selection Evo Psych theories that have been inadequately tested. Too much complexity out there.
