I was recently informed by a socialist on Twitter that men “argue capitalistic ideas in [her] mentions” too often, and she “doesn’t allow it”, so I must stop.

People of a Leftward ideological stripe have an odd conception of their social media being their "space" that you shouldn't have violated with your wrongthink, despite it actually being a message projected outwardly to the world (or at least those you permit to see it)

One of the more irritating trends in social networking is how primed folks are to treat their very public conversations as proprietary. Not that anyone ever said "shoo" on Usenet or bulletin boards or the like, but it was a hell of a lot less routine than today.
