I came within a few inches of being run over by a double-decker bus on my first visit to London because I looked the wrong way before crossing the street. These days, many busy crosswalks (that’s zebra crossings for you Brits) have “Look Right” written on them in large letters.

I think once all of China, the rest of Europe, and the entire North and South American continents are driving on the same side, on must then conclude that that is the "right" side. ;)

Clearly the British use the correct side of the road because otherwise all the signs would be the wrong way round. Britain leading the way in practical common sense yet again.
