I am unconvinced of the usefulness of constantly pointing out that men are stronger than women & therefore women are at a physical disadvantage if confronted by a male violent criminal.

Because men kill other men, it's really the men who get killed's own fault for not stopping men killing other men.

Being afraid of all men because a minority are violent is deeply unhealthy paranoia that should not be encouraged.

I don't agree with collective blame mentality, but to solve a problem one does have to consider the demographics. Is denying or overlooking it really helpful?

Helen has already responded, there's already a stigma against men violence towards women and laws making it more punitive, recognising the physical imbalance, what more to make out of it? Perpetrators already ignoring it, and most men are responsible and need not be drilled.

It's the logical endpoint of a belief in 'the patriarchy' esp when coupled with 'gender is a social construct.' Contempt for men is the inevitable conclusion. It's inescapable.
