I am unconvinced of the usefulness of constantly pointing out that men are stronger than women & therefore women are at a physical disadvantage if confronted by a male violent criminal.

Its nearly always related to a collective blame mentality and this is revealed when you point out that men are the primary victims of violence and are told 'Yes, but by other men.' This is really, really worrying.

Hmm. What about rape? That's a type of violence that's not historically heavily punished either criminally or socially.
-
!!! Really?
-
Heh. I know that seems particularly silly to say during MeToo, but come on. We have stats about the untested rape kits and the light criminal justice penalties.
-
You do?

Here's the rape kit article I was thinking of, but that's fair: I have not pulled these stats myself!https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2015/07/16/untested-rape-kits-evidence-across-usa/29902199/ …

I don't expect you too. I just wanted to know what evidence there was that rape was taken less seriously than other crimes or considered more socially acceptable.

The usefulness of pointing out the disparity is mainly down to confronting social constructivists and feminists with facts. A lot of them are in denial about sexual dimorphism, yes even in regards to strength and height, claiming it's somehow due to socialisation.

Yes, many denies this. 1 in 4 women and 1 in 5 men now believe physical differences are mostly based on societal expectation according to a january pew poll.
