I suggested humans were something of a plague to the planet once and he retweeted me scathingly. So many people told me I was fat and should probably kill myself. He's not to blame for his followers but they can be a nasty lot.
Not all of them. Because I write about postmodernism too, I get way more very polite, very well-intentioned, very lengthy messages imploring me to see we are on the same side. We are not on the same side.

I've tried to explain with an analogy: Imagine you're trying to deal with climate change by getting people to reduce carbon emissions & someone else is trying to deal with it by advocating prayer? These people are not on the same side & the latter impedes the former.
