Have you read “The Master And Margarita?”
-
I have, but I can't speak for the other Helen :)

It's gorgeous - my favorite Russian novel, and one of the most important books of my life. Satan visits Moscow in the 1930s with his retinue, creating havoc and mayhem - but posing deep moral questions.
-
And part of the story in the book is the true relationship between Satan and the forces that Yeshua and Judas represent - antagonistic, or complementary? Satan is the Lord of the Shadows, but what kind of world would you live in if nothing cast a shadow?
