This doesn't mean I don't recognise & appreciate certain privileges accorded me because of my sex. I am warmed when men offer to lift things for me and walk me places even when I can lift those things, tho less easily, and am probably safe to walk alone. It's kind & thoughtful.

This needs to be reciprocated tho. I am very protective of my male friends when threatened unfairly by women, Attack them verbally and I will make you regret it.

I don't think anyone should have to earn respect. All human beings are owed respect, and decency. I try my darndest, too often fail. But it is the ideal.

Respect is a form of admiration and how can you admire someone you know absolutely nothing about? Why is it owed? Should parents hand their kids over to strangers in the street, or can trust be something earned? Yet, withholding trust would be far more damaging to others, no?

Being honoured means being put above others, if it doesn't mean that, it doesn't mean anything at all. We can say we'd like everybody to engage with each other to a certain standard, but that would just be treating everybody in a civil manner, not being honoured.

What! It's all beyond me I think you are all what you say others are. Why can't we just be women and men.
